Sarah Roma, Advocacy Planning & Training
Sarah Roma is the Founder and Principal at Solutions for Igniting Social Transformation, LLC (SolutionIST), where she advises nonprofit and philanthropic organizations and leaders on how to be more strategic, reflective, and impactful in their work.
Sarah's experience spans 25 years of leadership across a wide range of organizations. She was the Director of Women, Girls, and Population at the United Nations Foundation and the Director of Field Policy and Advocacy at Save the Children. As an advocacy trainer and faculty member at the School for International Training (SIT) Graduate Institute, Sarah has developed advocacy curricula and strategies, and led workshops and classes with hundreds of people from over 40 countries.
Sarah received a BA from Carleton College and an MPP from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
